When using the Reader Extractor ability it gives you stats on the current Soil Spot, Creature, or Plant. Specifically when getting statistics about a Plant or Soil Spot, the data will contain a value called Soil Health. There are also additional statistics for Root Weight and Plant Weight but they are all derived from the Soil Health. == Overview == === Max Soil Health === This is the value on the left when viewing the Reader info. Insert Picture HERE When planting a new plant in a Soil Spot, this is the maximum value the Root Weight can be. For most initial Soil Spots the value is 100, expect for some Soil Spots with Plants already present in them. === Temporary Max Soil Health === This is the value on the right when viewing the Reader info. Insert Picture HERE After Looping, any plants that where planted will now use this value instead of Max Soil Health. This partially gives the the impression to the player that the plants grow after Looping but this is not the case. If a plant that is using the Temporary Max Soil Health instead of the Max Soil Health is replanted using Digger, it will switch back to using the Max Soil Health. == Fruit/Meat Compost == When using Fruit or Meat as compost using the Green Thumb Cortex skill, it will increase the Max Soil Health by the number of Calories a Food item has multiplied by 0.65. The Temporary Max Soil Health is increased directly by the number of Calories a Food item has. The values Max Soil Health and Temporary Max Soil Health will only be updated and usable once a single loop as happened. The usually means, once the player has used Food to compost a Soil Spot, on the next loop, it will be using the new, increased Temporary Max Soil Health. There is a maximum to both of theses values when using Food items as compost which turns out to be 330/500 or 330 Max Soil Health and 500 Temporary Max Soil Health. == Compost == When using Compost, it will increase the Max Soil Health by 100 if there is a plant already planted there, but this is only visual. If the plant is dug up via Digger or there is no plant there to begin with it increase the Max Soil Health by 65 (or 100 * 0.65). Compost will increase the Temporary Max Soil Health by 100. Both of theses values are updated instantly and no Loop is required to make use of the Max Soil Health increase. There is no maximum to using Compost on a Soil Spot and it will always increase it by 65/100 or +65 to Max Soil Health and +100 Temporary Max Soil Health. Note: If Food is used as compost after breaching the Food compost cap of 330/500 with Compost it will reset it back to 330/500 on the next Loop == Looping == When Looping, unless Compost or a Food item was used as compost, there will be not change in the Max Soil Health and Temporary Max Soil Health. In addition there will be not change if the cap of Food items as compost was reached and Food items where used as compost on the previous Loop.
